Impact Initiatives aims to support people of all ages in Sussex. We currently have a number of different services.

Services for children and young people

Whitehawk After School Project (WASP)

After school care and a youth club for children and families in Whitehawk

The Young People’s Centre (YPC)

A safe, social place for 13–25 year-olds to get help with employment and training, sexual health, teenage pregnancy, mental health, homelessness, and drugs and alcohol.

Stopover

A safe place for homeless young women with support to work towards living independently.

Services for working-age adults

Workability

Supporting people with a history of alcohol or substance misuse, or disabilities to get paid work, training or volunteer opportunities.

Advocacy

Giving a voice to adults with a disability or learning difficulties who feel excluded from decisions being made about their lives.

Services for older people

Brunswick Older People’s Project

Creating social and educational opportunities to improve the wellbeing of people aged 60+ in Brighton and Hove.

Dingemans Centre and Café

Creating social and educational opportunities to improve the wellbeing of people aged 60+ in and around Steyning.

Services for community groups

Money in Mind

Providing free practical support and advice in managing money to community groups with an annual income of less than £35,000.

Day trip for older people

Impact aims to enable people of all generations in need of support to reach their potential through innovative, professional and high quality service provision.
