Stopover

Housing and support for young women in Brighton and Hove.

Who is it for?

Stopover is for young women who are homeless and need a safe place to live, where they will get help and support so that they can move on to live independently.

What does it offer?

Stopover offers a safe place to live and friendly staff who will help you take control of your life and:

  • get training or work
  • find other support services you may need, such as drug and alcohol, domestic violence  or mental health services
  • learn how to manage your money
  • learn skills such as cooking
  • learn about relationships and keeping yourself safe

We’ll listen and give advice without judging.

Our two houses (Stopover One and Stopover Two) have different levels of support. Many women move from one house to the other, before moving out and living independently.
